The institution is seeking an exceptional individual to be the Team Lead, Finacle Core Support to provide expert leadership and ensure the highest levels of performance, stability, and availability of the Finacle Core Banking application.

As Team Lead, Finacle Core Support, you will be the technical authority and primary point of escalation for the Finacle Core Banking system. You will lead a team of specialists to manage, support, and optimize the core banking platform, ensuring it meets the dynamic needs of the business while maintaining strict compliance and security standards.

 

Job Details

Key Responsibilities

1. Strategic Leadership

  • Provide expert-level leadership and oversight for the Finacle Core Banking application suite across subsidiaries.
  • Develop and execute a strategic roadmap for Finacle application health, performance, and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure 99.9% uptime and optimal performance of the critical Core Banking system.

2. Operational Excellence

  • Serve as the ultimate escalation point for resolving complex incidents, problems, and service requests related to Finacle.
  • Lead root cause analysis for major incidents and implement permanent corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
  • Oversee and coordinate Finacle version upgrades, patches, and hotfixes in alignment with headquarters release schedules.

3. Security & Compliance

  • Ensure the Finacle application and its configurations comply with all internal security policies and regulatory requirements (e.g., CBN, PCI-DSS).
  • Manage user access controls and segregation of duties within the Finacle system.
  • Lead audit activities related to the Core Banking system, providing necessary documentation and evidence.

4. Innovation & Modernization

  • Drive initiatives to optimize Finacle performance through tuning, configuration changes, and architecture reviews.
  • Collaborate with product teams to explore and implement new Finacle modules and features to enhance subsidiary banking services.
  • Automate routine operational and monitoring tasks to improve team efficiency and system reliability.

5. Team & Stakeholder Management

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of Finacle support analysts.
  • Manage relationships with key stakeholders, including subsidiary business heads, product teams, and Infosys support.
  • Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and service level agreements (SLAs) for the Finacle support team.

Requirements

Key Qualifications and Competencies

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in supporting and administering the Infosys Finacle Core Banking application.
  • 1+ years in a leadership or senior technical lead role within a core banking support environment.
  • Proven experience in managing Finacle Core Banking application

Certifications:

  • Infosys Finacle Certification is highly desirable (e.g., Finacle Customization, Finacle Administration).
  • ITIL Foundation or Higher certification.

Skills & Attributes

  • Expertise in:
    • Finacle Architecture: Deep understanding of Finacle modules, tables, workflows, and underlying architecture.
    • Finacle Tools: Proficiency in using Finacle Scripting, FINTP, FINCORE, and other administration tools.
    • Database & OS: Strong knowledge of Oracle Database and Unix/Linux operating systems.
    • Integration: Experience with Finacle APIs and integration points with peripheral systems (e.g., payments, channels).
    • Troubleshooting: Advanced skills in diagnosing and resolving complex technical and functional issues in Finacle.
  • stakeholder engagement and executive communication skills. 
  • Proven track record in navigating banking regulations while delivering iteratively.
